Anyone know what happend to this channel? One day its there then its gone the next morning.
Is anyone else not getting it or is Timewarner just being gay.

It's probally a question to ask your cable provider, same thing happened to with the international channel.

Great. Now I've got a picture stuck in my head of two coax cables trying to screw into each other instead of the plug in the wall.

I had that same image when I connected cable to the second TV. Although I guess it was more of an orgy involving the splitter.

Either way, everything will probably clear up after the merger.

Well, to give a more "serious" answer, it must be your cable company. I've got Comcast, and I get G4TechTV on both ch. 219 (G4's original channel) and ch.244 (TechTV's original channel). I'd just complain to them.

Yesterday on the Screen Saver they addressed this and said if you live in New York you won't get either channel anymore.

Wow! That totally sucks! Esp. since NY state has such a big population...I know if I lived there I would complain to the cable company. Or switch to a dish-based provider.
Or just stop complaining about not getting a video-game based channel and just play more video games in lieu of watching TV.

Before the TechTV-G4 merger, I only got TechTV, so I was excited to hear that I'd be getting some more shows about video games from the G4 network. However, from what I've seen of the G4 shows, they all kind of suck. Are there any good ones that I just haven't seen yet, or is X-Play really the best video game show on TV right now (a disheartening thought...)?

Bah, I hate this new G4 Tech TV crap. I loved Tech TV, they had all kinds of interesting and diverse programming, but now all it is is an all-day marathon of video game shows that were shot as long as over a year ago.

Come on, we like games, but sometimes too much is too much.

Plus, I'm so used to the US' treatment of video game TV shows and stuff as being crappy anyway... "Here's John Madden: Milk, Rehash, and Repeat 2004! It's the best ever. Now here's Crash Bandicoot 4: The Final Friday! It's also the best ever." Basically, the only Japanese games I've seen show up on shows like that are ultra-huge ones like the current Final Fantasy. So, did anyone ever watch enough G4 to get a good idea of the shows? Was it like the Spike TV Video Game Awards level, or was it like an objective video game magazine that reviews a majority of the current games available out there, regardless of where they came from, or what the subject matter is, and kept us up to date on upcoming games worth mentioning? Or was it just football games and GTA all day long?

Basically what I'm asking is this- were the shows targeted at people who PLAY GAMES, or just people who happen to own a console and kind of like video games?
