i may be wrong but the flash interface may just be a "player" (or some kind of screen) for the movie to play on. the movie itself (i think) might just be a regular movie file -- avi, mpg, mov, or whatever
i checked my cache and found trailer02_large.swf. if someone had a flash editor and checked the source where the "player" is gettin the movie from, then we might be able to save it directly from its source

Yeah, unless they've decided to undo -everything- from the original game (a loner Cloud again, how convenient), that alien's history. Jenova's dedddder than dirt after you killed Jenova Kanzentai "synthesis." Then again, so was Sephiroth. Hmmm.

It is, kinda. But it links to other swf movies. Which is kinda stupid, but then again it does take away some complications that would come with using video files.
...they're smart. You can't play the movie normally if you only download these swf files. So don't bother unless you really want to go out of your way and extract the videos from inside these two swf files.
