Following E5150's idea, I propose another tourney of votes : Vote for you 3 (and 3 means "three", not "4" or "5" or "Beatmania IIDX 6th Style B4U High Speed") most hated individual KOF characters.
You can cast your vote on any character that has appeared between KOF 94 and 03, which excludes MI since no one played it, and the EX series, because a recent report of the CIA and the FBI proves these games never existed.
And since I began, I'll start : Terry, ugly, Yuri, ugly, and Robert, ugly.

Terry Bogard worked hard to perform his burn knuckle, and this bastard was born with his powers! Now SNK says this mean slacker has the ability to defeat Gods and is worth cloning. That's right, I said mean. Teach Shingo some Moves you bastard!
MAI SHRANUI - She's hott, but the most useless character ever. She's a virgin who runs around half naked and can't even attract Gay Ass Andy and storylinewise has never done anything except portray being a Super Slutty Bimbo but only keeps showing up in games because of horny fanboys!
ANDY BOGARD - Have Sex with Mai you Moran!

This is probably one of the rare cases where I prefer the clones over the originals.
Never liked Ryu and Ken, never will. And I'll say the same thing when SF celebrates it's 20th anniversarry.
Won't argue about Yuri though. I liked her alot more when she had her own style. Oh well, if it took 7 yrs to see a new Samurai Spirits game, there's hope Yuri will return to her AOF II incarnation someday.
My most hated; too many to list so I'll break it down as best I can.
1. KOF bosses - Some people get their kicks from fighting uber cheap bosses, but I'm not one of them. I'm taking a break from KOF 03 just because I'm sick of throwing out a bunch of hits that go through Mukai and fail to register a hit. Won't even start on the ever lame full screen super (Must be a fighting game rule that a boss must have a full screen super now!).
2. Sports Hero team - Amazed these guys haven't been listed up til now!
3. Bao - For that matter, any a million projectile-type character (One projectile's more than annoying enough thank you!)

K9999. Why? Because he was an implicit acceptance of the idea that directly ripping off of (aka "paying tribute to") an existing design was a good, creative idea. The ONLY time this is acceptable is satire. And even then, the satire's character should be slightly different.
Iori. Why? Sadly emblematic of KOF's problems as a series is the most titillating of all Japanese punks, and so my hate for him burns through the excellent base of his character. Innumerable games. No change. Sure, a new move or two. Even a striker with... GASP!!! A new outfit! But nothing of any importance. Even Kyo, KOF's official mascot, had a near-complete move change at one point, and multiple new costumes. Iori is pure disgusting stagnation.
Shermie. Why? Because despite the fact that she has herpes and innumerable other diseases, she continues to sleep with anything that travels within vaginal range. Also, she perpetuates the stereotype that all women with gigantic breasts are attractive.
Edit: HATE HATE HATE!!! Hope ya'll like my new fur coat. It's made from yo' mamas' pubic hair.
