Wow good to hear Sony has SOME sense. BTW I thought I heard something about Dante being a playable character in VJ1 for the PS2? That would certainly be interesting for sure.

Joe is definitly one of the best Capcom heroes of those last year. All I can wish now is to see him in any Capcom vs someone game.

Actually, Dante is the bonus character of the PS2 version of Viewtiful Joe 1. Good way to sell an old game AND the sequel... We'll have to hope the PS2 versions won't be too much watered down.
And I can't wait to see Oogami moving. This version of Amaterasu is so much interesting than the Megaten 3 version...

Here's a new GAF article with a bunch of VJ PS2 and VJ2 screens. It appears that not only are Trish and Dante playable, but they also have their own scenario and cutscenes in the game. And Trish is now wearing Dante and Virgil's Perfect Amulet.
