Actually i dont even know how to clean a normal monitor surface... wet tissue + dry towel/tissue doesn't seem to help coz dust just stick like....dust even worse right after u did it. i got like countless fingerprints on my normal monitor back home, and this LCD i'm using here is gettin' worse by the day.
any advise with somethi'n simple and efficient?
thanks~

Try searching techtv.com, a while back on call for help or the screen savers they talked about it.

Any computer store sells wipes or towels to clean the monitors.

I clean my normal CRT monitors / TV / LCD screens with some glass cleaner and bunched up newspaper. I spray the cleaner on the newspaper (try to choose the side with more black newsprint) and then rub it all over the screen. Works like a charm, and no more dust. If you don't have glass cleaner, water works fine as well, but it might not remove the more stubborn stains like cigrette ash buildup.
Just be careful not to smudge the newsprint on the sides of the monitor, especially if it's a light colour. Also be careful not to spray too much; you don't want the cleaner to drip inside the monitor.
Also, your hands will be blackened by all the newsprint after cleaning, so make sure you have somewhere to wash your hands afterwards.
