To go a little off topic... did anyone catch the latest Ghostbusters comic? I thought it was ok, but in the first issue, nothing much happens... there are some interesting bits:

Spoiler (Highlight to view) -
- Louis Tully seems to be the sh*t (Keymaster Cologne, LOL)
- Venkman IS NOT dating Cameron Diaz
- Janine can be sexy when she wants to be
- The story takes place just after the first GB movie, but according to the comic, the events of the original GB movie take place not too long ago (as in the present day, 2004(?)

End of Spoiler

Right now, I'll pick up issue 2, because I don't quite know what to expect.

Also... has anyone picked up the Devil May Cry comic yet? I saw a few issues at the comic store on the past-releases shelf. Of course, I never played the games, but intend to (when I have time). If someone's read it, whats your opinion of it?

I read the DMC comic. It was ok. It has what happened at the opening of the game in it. It also has a bunch of extra stuff before that that just introduces Dante before that stuff (which I thought didn't have to happen, they could've just opened the book with how the game opened and then proceeded to the fight with the marionettes and the spider-thing). In any case, I didn't like some things in the beginning but it was ok. I can't really judge it until the comic gets into the meat of the story of the game.

WAH?! Ghostbusters is actually out now? So how many issues of it are out now?

I don't like the DMC comic, I played the game already and don't much feel like reading the plot again.

The first issue of the Ghostbusters comic just game out, after God knows how many months of delay. And I'm loving it. Thanks God they took out all that cartoon bullshit and it's purely based on the movies.
By the way, how many different covers are there for it? I got three, but I heard there was five.

Spoiler (Highlight to view) -
I think the containment system looks a lot like the one in the cartoon.

Me personally, I loved "The Real Ghostbusters" Cartoon, but that's just me. The first comic based on the cartoon was really bad.

I liked the Devil May Cry Comic. You should pick it up just to read the kick ass interview of the game's creators. They talk about how Dante would kick Tyrant's Ass, Trish is hotter than what's her face from DMC2, and they would love to see Dante team up with Spider-Man and the X-Men while tossing in Viewtiful Joe!

as far as I can tell 5
-Incentive Cover (Just the GB Logo)
-Normal Cover (all 4 in 'Slimey ruins')
-Peter Cover
-Grahamcrackers.com exclusive cover (Staypuff Vs. Ray it looks like)
-Toyzz.com exclusive cover (Terror Dog)

my view on the comic:
I'm not sure if I like it yet or not, I'll know by issue 4 but so far so good... I didn't think I'd like the whole "oh we're ignoring everything but the first movie!" concept but it works very well, far better then the sudden change in GB2 were they're broke and Dana is married with a kid.

By the way guys, the Ghostbusters comic is sold out, and no second printing has been confirmed yet (though it is a possiblity) so if you plan on getting it, better grab it when you see it!
