That's great news! Haha, I won't be buying you too, little GC. But I have to finish playing Phantom Brave first. At the rate I'm going, I think I'll be done at the end of the year :p

Huh... I've been used to the idea of players not being able to read/hear what the main characters say, but to have voice loss completely oughta be interesting.

I just got Myao in Phantom Brave. I should be finished just in time to welcome Symphonia to my Japanese PS2. :)
I thought Rebirth was going to be PS2 exclusive anyway, so the need of a GC is truly zero. :p
Will either/both come to the US, or will that be contingent on the success of GCN's Symphonia?

Rebirth is a 2d game for the PS2, so chances of Sony of America allowing it to be released on the US at a decent price (considering the cost of translating an RPG) are zero.

Thats in JULY! for Gamecube.
I've read that the next in the Tales series is called 'Tales of Rebirth.' The kicker is, supposedly the main character lost his voice in an accident.
Now, why did it take this long for someone to come up with this?
He didn't lose his voice, he closed off his heart to others. So eventually, he'll start talking in the game

HEY WAIT Symphonia is going to the US even though Phantasia never did?
Are they going to change some of the stuff in the game or something? Practically every person that plays the game is going to get confused at the ending.

Phantasia came to the US... under the name of Tales of Destiny 2. The true TOD2 never came to the US. Confusing, isn't it? That's because Namco US sucks.

No, Phantasia never came to the US. Eternia was called Destiny 2 in the US

That's right. I played Phantasia with a patch. That's why I was confused... but it's Namco's fault for their crazy way of naming these things! :p
