I haven't heard anything about this game in a while. I haven't been on the boards lately due to my lame school and projects and moving and all, but, is there any news about the game?

Is it still being made or did they scrap it?

preciate the feed back.

I haven't heard anything outside of the game still being canceled.

Recently, Snowstorm did write a Fan Fic about it. While her writing skills are better than mine I feel she is being biased favoring Rival School characters here.

And since I shamelessly plug it whenever I get the chance, here's my CFAS Fan Fic where unlike Snowstorm I give everyone a chance to shine!

And that's about it for CFAS News...

We're roughly 100.1% sure that the game is cancelled. Last we heard, it was cancelled, and now we haven't seen anything new from it since, what... last E3? The one before that?

Also, GamePro recently ("recently" meaning two months ago) put CFAS in an article about games that were seriously hyped and nearly completed, but then cancelled. It was put alongside such I--wonder-what-that-would've-been-like games as Thrill Kill (the world's first four player 3D fighting game), Conker's Quest, and Harry Potter Online. So far, Capcom has had no complaints, and GamePro didn't have any more recent screenshots than the original set that Capcom released.

I'd hope that we would get a leak of the alpha some day, but Capcom has cancelled a lot of games in the past and none of them have ever been leaked. AFAIK, no one's ever even gotten to play Resident Evil 4 Ver. 1 (which became Devil May Cry) or Resident Evil 4 Ver. 2 (the "Leon fights ghosts and shadow people" version), despite the fact that they both seemed to be pretty far along.

The last thing I've heard on CFAs was on Senri Kita's "Private BBs" where I've asked if the game was canceled or not, and the only respond I get was that he's still in work in progress, just put in sleep until new order but will be out one day.

Since I can tell if it was really Kita or not who answered, I think that we should wait.

In the last issue of Arcadia, some one sent in a drawing of Morrigan. Usually in the Fan Art section, the name of the game being represented is mentioned. Well, the game written underneath the drawing was "CFAS!" Looks like fans in Japan haven't given up on the game either, even if Morrigan was not in the game's original roster, but she had a good chance of being a hidden character given her immense popularity in Japan.

Completely off-topic, but most folks who have actually played Thrill Kill (myself included) have found it to be total crap.

Thank you, drive through.

Capcom sold all source code and game data related to CFAS to SNK Playmore, and because of this, we have KOF Maximum Impact. LOL!

But seriously, there's some Ingrid action figures still floating around because of CFAS. Not that it means anything though...

I hope CFAS comes out in some form...

This year's E3 should, (hopefully), reveal the final fate of CFAS. IRC though, didn't Capcom Japan actually have an official page for the game? Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly.

Irregardless, if CFAS doesn't reappear at E3, I would assume its just dead. But then, it could come back to life.

Isn't life funny. How we can't even be sure if this game is dead or alive. Irregardless though, if CFAS is an arcade game, it probably won't come to the US since Capcom's US arcade division is dead.
