Just picked it up. The first things you will notice is A) An (original?) Shinkiro cover with SF2 style cammy and Chun Li B) The small size(bigger than mangas smaller than the original size) and C) the $9.99 price(yes!). It has issues 0-6, a gallery of the power foil covers, and the chapters are seperated by their original covers. Although I already had all the issues(minus issue 0 which really wasn't that interesting) I thought I would support UDON who are doing such a good job.

This is a sweet package. From now one i think I will skip the single issues and just jump straight to TPB like how I do with Ultimate Marvel.

Missing non-Udon variant covers and back-up stories.

Whoa! Totally slipped past me (Diamond Comics didn't list it under Image like it did the individual issues). Now I wonder if I could put the individual issues I own on e-bay in favor of this.

On newsarama, regarding more SF after the trade. I really hope they create at the very least a new trade containing only the back ups, if they are not to be included with the trades of the series:

"While those picking up today’s trade are going to miss out on the backups, they will be continuing as the series progresses. “We really have a stellar lineup of guest artists,” the writer confirmed. “Issue #7 kicks off with Salvador (X-Men) Larroca, followed by Ale Garza, LeSean (TMNT) Thomas, Keron Grant, Andy (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) Seto, Yasuhiro (Trigun) Nightow and don’t be surprised if a certain ‘mad’ artist returns for a second round.

“We’re also blessed and honored to have some of the ridiculously talented artists from CAPCOM creating some covers for us, including art by Edayan (SFII Turbo Revival) and Shinkiro (CAPCOM Vs. SNK). It’s going to be a great year if you’re a Street Fighter fan!”

They said it another TPB would come, then said the opposite later (probably when they realized that some people would prefer to wait). Udon is all about the money.

1) Release a cheaper version of the TPB really fast after issue 6, so they can get money from TPB and casual fans (plus the TPB being smaller they can sell to bookstores).

2) Remove back-ups and variant covers form the TPB, so the comics keep selling.

Hmm...fourth cover after the end of the article on more SF comics looks good... it has an 'ideal' hairdo for Guile.

I'm tempted to get the TPB, even though I have all issues already. That Shinkiro cover looks tempting. But I need my money... :(

Wow. I never knew Cammy was the main character of Street Fighter. But she must be since she's taking the spotlight on half those covers... Maybe the cammyfan guy is secretly controlling Udon behind the scenes...

She has something very important that Ryu lacks.

Personally, I liked reading the stories grouped together without interuptions of back stories and Cheap Shots as it played out like a mini movie of sorts. I would of rathered the back stories and cheap shots where in the book though, grouped together after the main story.

And I'm not hating on the Shinkiro Cover! I never liked him as SNK Artist, but it seems he's gotten much better under Capcom. Perhaps he's taken a few tips from Capcom Artists.
