quote: Chris in KOF breaks a lot of stereotypes, for being Swedish. For one, he's neither blonde, nor a hot chick named 'Inga', talking with a bad German accent. He's also not a viking (which, then again, is a trait more commonly seen in Norwegian characters - just look at World Heroes or Time Killers), an IKEA salesman, or a meatball. :D
Very true. I'm a heavy disliker of most stereotypes. So,Chris is original to say in the least.
Well for non-stereotypes,how about Shermie? She doesn't wear a beret, have hairy legs or wear a striped top. She wears a tight pink outfit, has hair in her eyes, and she can dance. That's class. BTW,what is her fighting style?

quote: I'm drawing a blank, is C.Jack from America, Germany or somewhere else?
As far as other non-blondes go, I would say Felicia since she's American but she would probably be better classified as cat instead of Caucasian.
Can't recall if Cracker Jack had a nationality listed in his profile or not (I'm at work now, and away from my Japanese guidebooks).
Felicia could also be disqualified since she's female -- and American women, from a Japanese anime/manga/game point of view, seem to sport a much wider array of hair colors (although blondes (and cowboy hats) are still quite prevalent).
As long as we've mentioned some of the non-playable non-blonde American males from Final Fight, let's not forget Poison and Roxy -- bright pink and nuclear orange probably aren't their natural hair colors, but then again there isn't much about these two that could be considered natural, is there? : )

quote: Why are we clearly avoiding black stereotypes?? Because it's so obvious it's not even funny. The discution continues until someone says "Boman", and then everybody shut up and cry.
Speaking of black stereotypes, I'd perform a year's worth of debasing acts for a fighting game with 50 Cent (or somesuch replica). Of course, he'd have to have a full assortment of automatic weaponry.
quote: It's the same reason why we don't talk about gay stereotypes (Laurenc-OK END OF THE DISCUTION).
All right, the discution is over. Now on to the discussion! What about that guy from... Breakers, was it? Interesting mix of stereotypes, there...

No? damn, I thought America was a whole continent, not a single country...
Oh well...
If you want to get really technical its two continents.
Ok I have geography question. What continent do the Central American Countries belong to? Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Belize, Guatemala, and El Salvador. I think that is all of them. Do they belong to North America, South America or simply some sort of separate Continent like Central America???

Central America (Panama and everything northward) are part of North America. They are often regarded seperately due to their size (USA, Canada, and Mexico are larger than all the others combined). Greenland and the various Caribbean countries like Jamaica are part of North America.

A very refreshing lesson I thought that C.A was part of North America but I have heard them always referred to as Central and nothing else. Also Interesting is the inclusion of the Carribean and Greenland. That makes a lot of countries in North America. All those Island Nations Thanks be to Z.I.A

I'd say they are N. America. They could be called by a different name as a result of the 'weight' of Northern countries like ZamIAm said. Also the "central" area was supposedly formed by volcanos traveling from West to East, which weren't part of the main continents...so maybe that's a cause too.
Think happy thoughts.
