Frankly, i now think KOF 2004 is going to be just a PS2/DC-like KOF with more animation and characters. High-res backgrounds, slightly touched sprites, the kind of stuff you see in KOF Evo, PS2 2001 and PS2 2002.
I don´t mind, considering i much prefer old SNK sprites over GGXX ones. I now can dream about KOF 2006 (the Dreammatch) being a KOF with all characters ever, including variant versions and outfits, plus Kim-level animation everywhere... with CVS1-level backgrounds... Hmmm...
Everybody else will probably whine, though.
SSAW will probably be all-new, considering he said teh new designs will be different and the fact SS0S is already a rehash.
I wonder how MS6 will be.

One question - Can someone explain what "AWNET" is? Is it Sammy's online network for arcade titles? I'm clueless! Thanks in advance! =)
I wonder if South America will support the AW now. There are very little AW boards here, and people still prefer to play GG at home, considering the ports are pretty close to the arcade.
I´m afradi the same will happen to the SNKP AW games, which will make them lose a lot of arcade money... South America is their second biggest market, after all...
Anyway, from what i´ve heard, the AW-Net is a internet service through AW boards. Rankings and BS like that.
