It's understandable when a company releases products or special bundles like this in it's own country. What I don't like is when they change the product to a lower quality version when they sell it to us.
I don't care so much about LE consoles since I'll only buy one. However I want game companies to start releasing the LE games for $20 more as well as the regular version. I generally buy my games at launch date if I'm going to buy them at all and I'd like something more than just the knowledge that if I waited a few weeks the price would drop down (but yet I can't stop...)
Working Designs sorta did this but the extra stuff was crappy (wow character standies and an oversized neckless...) but games like Grandia with the soundtack (although Lunar had it too) Persona 2 with the abridged version of the fandisk and Soul Calibur with the art book were steps in the right direction.
