Those who just wanna remiscence of their favorite toons

I swear, when I was a kid,I never realized how catchy some of this stuff was.

Themes I recommend:

Heathcliff
Cattanooga Cats
Goof Troop
Inspector Gadget

Hell yeah! Me and my friends used to watch these shows like a lot when we were little. Ah,such memories.

Did that show ever come on in the mid 80's? That's where I grew up on a lot of stuff.

I don't ever remember that show.

It was on tv in the early 80's, near the end of it's run I think. I would have been about 4 or 5. I remeber it being kinda psycadelic... crazy :)

I watched Pole Position cartoon so much I don't even have to go to the site to hear it. It's still in my head. But then it was a surprisingly cool show so I don't mind.

*LOL* Anyone remember those feel-good shows like Care Bears and Gummi Bears?

I was like 4 when I first saw both shows. It's amazing I still remember them.

Ugh. I just saw the wav for Punky Brewster. O_o That show brings back dumb memories.

Even thought I wasn't born in the 70's(b.1982 here),Hong Kong Phooey was one of Hanna Barbera's coolest.

Forget the Super Mario Super Show theme, remember how incredible the Mario 3 and World cartoons were in comparison! They had random songs interspersed throughout like animes do from time to time, and the Super Mario World theme song was great to sing in the lowest voice you could manage at the time...!

The songs interspersed where always horrible though, and it didn't help the singers were clearly the Koopa Kids voices.

sometimes that could work (the episode with the music box, it would make sense if they were singing) but most of the time it ended up like the 'Koopa Kids' were incouraging the Mario Brothers to get through a challenge... I don't think anyone here was young enough (except HazZan) to possibly mistake the actor's voices for actually being the Koopa Kids telling the Bros. to not give up, but it's still distracting they couldn't hire less obvious singers.
