well I didn't play this one yet and I'm curious about the "scenarios". I mean in MS1, MS2 (MSX) it was Morden the bad guy, in MS3 Morden was abducted by the mars peoples and it was the ends of those. Well I'll forget MS4.
But i've noticed that in MS5, many foes, where new and diffrent, so I wish to know if the scenario have changed with new characters or change the foes them selves. Are Morden and the gatling dude ("go back to momy!!)still here?

the story start with this
after that, it became a story of a new cult done by the white masked man (he was a mudman, but became a "prophete" after putting the white mask, after "Mission 1").

Aaah... this looks much better now, knowing that there's an alternative, more explicative ending, because the one I saw with the demon as the final boss sucked.
Is it known how to get to those yet?
