Well for those who got the game, here is some little question. I try to help a friend who got the game (until I can get my own copy, y font quoi chez AYATO!!!!).

Can someone answer those, thanks!

did the characters got more than the 2 arcade color?

Did the bosses (Shin akuma, red a) can be used in VS match?
did they can be used in mirror match, with 2 difrent color or did there is a stupid bug when they're used at the same time.

Can Red'a and athena be turned in monster and so? if yes in what?

can some one make a little list of the overpowered characters to avoid in a fair 2P play.

and finaly can bosses or over powered characters can still be used fairly?
exemple: I've heard that shin akuma have infinite power bar, but, if you doesn't use this more than an usual character is he still fairly playable or still overpowered.

thanks!

Shin Gôki and Super Nose are normal characters playable from the start. This is ultimate bullshit.
And Athena and RA have transformations, but I haven't unlocked them so I haven't seen them. It would require me to play the game more than 10 minutes, a task I can't fulfill right now since I still have more interesting things to do, like watching the ceiling for hours or look at a switched off TV.
The 2 bosses are... bosses, but I've heard Athena and RA are not that strong (which I find hard to believe, if only because of the small zombie and the mermaid transformation). But even if they are playable, I haven't heard anyone saying that they were interesting to play (I mean, playing with them is even less interesting than playing the game with anybody else.)

Athena is ridiculously easy. All she did against me is use her supers with obvious start up animations. She didn't even use a normal attack.

The AI in SVC stinks. I beat Shiki yesterday by doing nothing but crouching D as she stood up. She never blocked once.

Similarly, I beat Chun Li by doing nothing but Ryo's QCF-kick move. She always tried to block low.

Errr, her few normals are mostly useless anyway, I guess.

For most games the AI is horrible(too easy/too hard/too stupid). Some games, like Virtua Fighter 4: Evo have really fun AI to play against.

I assume you mean it's dumb because Gouki and Mr. Karate would be ridiculously overpowered, but if it's anything like the Neo Geo version, I wouldn't worry. I admit I'm no expert, so I don't know if they ARE overpowered somehow, but from my experience, they're not - they might have good priority overall, but their supers suck horribly. They're free (except Gouki's raging demon), but they all do shit damage, like maybe an 8th of a meter. So basically they have no supers, giving them quite a big disadvantage...

Alright, here are some quick SvC impressions as you requested:

The one advantage that SvC has over CvS is that characters are actually "loval"; what I mean is that if you play as Terry or Kyo on CvS they play much diferently as they did on SNK games but if you play as Ryu or Guile on SvC they play fairly similar to their Capcoms alter egos.

The only characters that got "the slim side of the straw" here are Hugo, Choi, Genjuro; because the game couldn't reproduce their gameplay and they habe been underpowered a bit.

Unfortunatly that only applies if you don't use the "guard brake" dash (block then do f, f or block then do BC) that Dash is too damn fast, wastes too little bar. This move makes for about 80% of the moves on the game useless and "destroys" many of the characters gameplay. If you want to make this game somewhat "enjoyable" you better "forbid" this move between your friends. With this move the game is 'boring & uninteresting', without this move the game is 'almost fun & no intersting'.

Well, on the characters the Capcom shotos are tough but they are not as thought as they use to be; Kyo is also not as powerful as in KoF but he deals more damage. Terry is really cheap and on the bosses the only "fair" character is Dan (good moves, 0 combos), the rest of the cast that I haven't mentioned is somewhat "balanced out".

Funny thing since I have been playing this game a lot (almost 3 hours); long time since I completely despise it.

For the record, on the "controls" matter I like slightly better the "normal" config.

Fun fact: Do you guys know that "evil Ken" is based on a mugen characterm right?? What you don't know is that THAT mugen character was created on Chile XD

The official explanation is that it's Ken brainwashed by Vega in I don't know what movie or animated series.

Actually, Reu is from Singapore, as stated in his Evil Ken's readme:

"Singapore Street Fighter Comix: For the idea of Evil Ken.

Made in Singapore!"

The character can be found at http://mi.mgbr.net

He plays rather differently from his SvC incarnation though, but his difficulty is legendary in the Mugen community.

Reading Toxico's review makes me want to play my copy of CvS1 on the DC. !

I think I'm still gonna buy SvC. Probably a bad idea, but, sigh, I have to. Its supposed to come out by February 10. Thats pretty quick, since the JA version came out in December.

HA ha ha ha ha ha funny thing since a friend of mine has stated that he had met the creator of the character.... Now that I think about it.... It seems that I can get tricked easily ;P
