hokay, I have a contest going on! it's tiny, but...well, it exists, at least. You can see the rules in full right here, but the abridged version is this: make a tag for insert credit. the prize is a copy of Karaoke Revolution for the PS2.
deadline is the 10th, at midnight...ooooooooh!
yeah. good times!

140x40 and 30k is the limit? Well, it's too difficult to make something impressive with those limits.
I'm not very skilled at gif animations but I'll give it a try.

doesn't have to be .gif, by the way.
and if you want to make a larger dimension one, that's alright as well. but the 30k limit is...mostly firm.

I'm not too keen on Karaoke Rev... but when a challenge is laid down I just can't resist.

Protip: Start at double or even triple the target size and scale down the final work. You'd be surprised how good small images can look when made this way.

Yup, I just wanted a character that sort of matched the color scheme of the site... I might add a couple more frames of animation before the deadline, hopefully keeping it under 30k
*edit* heh... ok I "refined" it a bit Insertion of the Credit Afterall I do have to live up to the title of the Talbaineric art contest winner this year
