Is there any good mahjong game in GBA? Thanks to games like the Taisen Hot/Net Gimmicks, Sakura Taisen Online and Idol Janshi Suchie-Pai, I'm learning how to play it. But I haven't found info on any decent mahjong game for GBA... is there any good one?

well, I still haven't found one. I'm sure there is, but...yeah.

If you have a NGPC, Super Real Mahjong is a good one...very solid series.

I don't think suchie pai is being continued anymore :\ I don't know why, I really enjoyed it. Probably my favorite series!!

You need to get a PS2, dude. As far as I can remember, Usagi is coming out for that, and it should be really good.

The one I have seems to be the last one released, for what I saw on this site. Animated scenes, nice music and a character edit mode where you can create Rally and Minnie-May lookalikes (Gunsmith Cats).

Are we talking about Chinese Mahjong, Shanghai Mahjong or the actual game 'Shanghai' which is always mistakenly called Mahjong in English?

Shanghai is the game where the tiles are piled in a pyramid shape with you trying to remove them all.

Chinese and Shanghai Mahjong is the traditional 4 player (sometimes 2 player on games) game with the rows and matching triplets and pairs etc, just different rules for the different regions.

I'm quite educated in this since I'm Chinese myself = lots of mahjong gambling around festive periods. I think there was a 'Mahjong Advance' released a while back but not sure if it's actual mahjong, get back to ya on that.

BTW, on Christmas, I made English 100 (approx. US$170) on winnings off my relatives over a 6 hour Mahjong round (4 'hoon')! Had 3 successive rounds of 5 fan victories! Yay me!

I do notice non Mahjong players will pass this over as mad rambling. Oh, it's just hit 01:24AM here, Happy New Years everyone and hopefully a good year of events to come (highly unlikely for some)....
