Don't know if you all heard, but recently, Anita Mui has died. It's a dark day indeed. She was a good actress. (Man! What's up with the great people dying this year?) Oh and if anyone can read Chinese, the article is down below.

Wow...Never knew there are fans of Anita Mui even at the MMCafe. Pretty much a regional star, and sad that she has left so young.
For those who don't know who she is, she is the supermarket boss lady in Jackie Chan's Rumble in the Bronx, and as Jackie's mum in Drunken Master 2.
She won Best Actress for Rogue.

I think she also played Jet Li's mom in The Master, if I'm not mistaken...

she was my favorite HK actress...
which is strange, because I don't find her attractive. She's just always played really compelling roles.

im not sure of that title in chinese name but from that link u gave me 十面埋伏 movie which directed by Hero's Director , she rejected this movie though . .T_T
