Just for an introduction: I'm a player at this game, not one of the game staff, so this spammy advertisement has been done strictly by myself, yell at me, not them :) This is not your traditional mindless level-up game, feature characters (ones from the games) have pre-set stats and attacks on them, and while there's an awesome combat system (including dodging, blocking, counters, charging, health bars, and super meters), the game is focused more on roleplaying, like MUSH, not a MUD. Also note, this a totally fan-made game, it has no affiliation with either Capcom or SNKPlaymore, it's a work of love. This is the game's standard advertisement:
Terry Bogard. Ryu. Ken Masters. Kyo Kusanagi. Chun-Li. Who doesn't remember these characters? For years, you've played video game upon video game beating up these people. Now play the roleplaying game, and find out what it's like outside the battle as well as in. Explore Rock Howard's relationship with his dad Geese, whom he never got to know in the games. Who will win when E.Honda and Gan step into the sumo ring? Will Kensou ever get Athena to notice him? And, of course, just who is the better copycat: Sakura or Shingo? Match of the Millenium (MotM) has taken characters and settings from some of the best fighting games produced by SNK and Capcom and combined them into one coherent world, where street fighting is the biggest sport on the planet. Play one of the well-known Feature Characters, or create your own Original Character, a fighter just at the beginning of their career. MotM is very much a character-driven roleplay environment, in which the players decide how the story evolves. When that story calls for fighting, MotM also offers an advanced coded combat system, which allows for many diverse strategies and styles. If you're interested, come check us out at via telnet or your favorite MUD client at: motm.kicks-ass.org, port 2002 (Website: http://motm.kicks-ass.org ) We'll see you there.

Now hold on, before you get on your "spammer!" soapbox, let me say that I've posted this my three favorite fighting game boards, and as far as I know, this has never been posted before and on any of them.
I'm a "newbie," yes, but I prefer to lurk on places. I may be doing a little promotion sure, but how is this any different from a post about another new game?
