First question..How y'all doin'!? I haven't stop by in a while and just wondered what everyone has been up to and how they have been.

Next question...anyone played the new Naruto game for Gamecube "Gekitou Ninja Taisen 2" yet? What are your impressions? I just ordered for next day delivery and had to buy a new memory card so I can format my old one for this import. So I can't wait to play it but I wanna know for those who have played it what did you think of the game.

Last question...This year is closing fast and I wanted to know what do y'all think of this year for Arcades and Fighting games? Good? Bad? Moderate? And looking to the future what do you see?

Anyway...thats all. Later!

Well, somewhat redundant query since TE asked something similar in an earlier post. But what the hey.

Question #1. I'm jobless. But I am a part-time handyman's assistant for my brother. And currently, substitute landlord. My brother is outta town.

Question #2. Haven't played it.

Question #3. I think it was a good year for fighting games.

Plusses: MK V, VF4:Evo, SC2, Def Jam Vendetta (yeah, this game is good!)
So-so's: SvC
Whatevers: Matrimelee, RoTD
Must Buy Home Port: SS0 (SS5)
High Anticipation: KOF 03

Then of course, we have KOF 3D and Sammy KOF, and Sammy vs Capcom for next year.

So, in conclussion. This year was good. Next year will be as good or better. KOF 03 is really making people happy.

PS. Don't forget to put your picture in the faces thread.

Bored? "160"

KOF 2003, seeing as I haven't played it yet...new FF(please be MOTW 2), Sammy vs Capcom and Sammy KOF.

KOF 3D on the other hand....blech. They better make the gameplay extra solid, because those char designs are definitely a turn-off.

Hi long time no see Shin at proof!!
Well IMO I'm fine, Sorry I didn't play the Naruto game so...

As for the Arcade games I think that 2003 is a good year not exellent but good SS 0,Svc, KOF 2003, and GG isuka, show sthat editor tries to go out of the "old road".

IMO I fear 2004 with this ridiculous KOF 3D idea, I could be wrong but I feel the game will turn to bullshit IMO.

3D market have already the 3 champion: VF EVO, SC2 Tekken 4. And they surely won't match they on the technical part, I didn't see IMO the interest of the 3D in "fireball Vs game"... If you cant use the 3D in your movement I didn't see the interest, and if you can move in 3D I didn't see the interest of "fireball and other".
SF ex and Rival school were good but never exelent games....

Well I'll keep my self busy with SvC and KOF 2003 for now and who knows KOF 2004 could be better..

Arcades in 2003 were, for me, just okay. The only new game I was excited for and could actually find in a local arcade was SvC and, sadly, it didn't grab me like I was hoping it would. Fighting games in general, however, did quite well. Any year that sees games like GGX2 and VF4:Evo getting console releases the US is okay in my book.

I got the Naruto game last week and have been hoocked ever since. It is 10x the game that the first one was. A very varied cast of characters and enough secrets and extras to keep you bust for atleast 20 hours. There are several new modes of play including 4 player matchs. My only gripe is that most of the stages are very small, I was hoping for more that were as big as the Naruto bridge.
