Well We all knows that Mad have stoped it, but I just have a little question "where" did the serie stop.
the comics was published in france and the last chapter I remember was the one where the shows Gully (the little girl, doesn't know if the french names are right.) escape from her house.

did the serie goes more far in USA??

err... that's tye *first* one, the prelude actualy. Last one is number 6. The total is six numbers, a prelude special, and a mini story in Frank Frazzetta Fantasy Illustrated. Everything but the number six is collected on TPB.

Battlechasers got a little further then six. The last Battlechasers that came out was #9 and it was a giant sized issue. That was a couple of years ago. Joe Mad started working on the next issues and then quit all together to help found Tri-Lunar games and work on Dragonkind - then that fell through and he's currently working on a MMORPG named Exarch.

http://www.skater-x.net/comics/c-images/battlechasers/bchasers09.htm is the cover to #9

You know what's weird? even when I had all the Battle Chasers volumes (with most variant covers) I was *convinced* there were six... I'm getting old, I'm starting to forget stuff.

It's fun to read the last one, he's promising a new start with more continuity that really never happened...
