This weekend I'm getting my first car! I feel like I'm walking on clouds...........I'll give you my imressions soon. It feels as good as if Clark had accepted to date me ^-^

Excellent news; but by one part be careful; if the car is pre- 93 or something like that the car will be excellent; but if you need to replace any piece it will be DAMN expensive.

If you are getting a new car then there it should be no problems... Start saving for the fuel; at least here is damn expensive; then again you are in a civilized country and thus everything should go A-OK.

And make sure you play more shooters to increase your driving skills.
Once, a car from the opposite direction was driving super fast, lost control, hit the road divider and came flying at me. Luckily I was able to predict its trajectory and knew where the "safe spot" was :)

And don't play racers... you'll get yourself killed faster :p

You would not have the luxury of being a proud pedestrian in Jackson, MS, because you would be a chalk mark. Seriously, you don't have to love the damn thing, but it's pretty useful. Being an unwilling pedestrian taught me that real fast.

Actually, since I don't live in some ubber remoted countryside of the US where you need a car to go to the grosser's but in Paris, with some 5 differents subway stations and almost the same amount of bus stations around my place, I think I can have that luxury. However, next year, when I'll move to a research center located in the mountains, 40 minutes by bus from Kyôto city, I might reconsider my position.

Thank you all for the nice things you said. My car is my dad's former car, a Volkswagen Polo. It's green like a rennet. Unfortunately, no sooner had I brought it back to my place than I caught a nasty flu. Now I must spend the next three days in the confinement of my bed. The only thing I can do is watch my car through the window of my 2nd floor flat with my feverish eyes all day long ^-^. But as I've just got my copy of Double Dragon Advance, and still have a few things to unlock in Mario Kart DD, I won't indulge into self-pity.

Personally I always had a thing for Mini Cooper..Might get one someday..but then I wouldn't fit in it anyway..oh well
