Something maybe more interesting than HSF2 : an album of the classic SF2 themes remixed by 12 famous game music composers : the guy of Y's (OMG!), the 2 composers of Ridge Racer, Shitamura Yôko (SF2 or Kingdom Heart), the guy of ChôAniki(AAAhahahahaha!), the one of Gradius, the one of Galaxian 3, Matsumae Manami (the first Rockman games), Xenosaga, Daytona USA etc etc.
I'm definitely curious on how it will turn out to be.

Iron D-itude fact 2: Iron D has played all of the old Ninja Turtles beat 'em ups but hasn't beaten the first game on the NES or Shredder takes Manhattan.

Himself.
By the way, have anyone heard some of the tunes of Y's 6 (or best, played the game?)
It's absolutely GORGEOUS.

Ys ALWAYS has awesome music. I'm debating buying the Ys 6 LE, but...not for the game, just for the extra crap. (not that the game doesn't look AWESOME, but just because my computer will make it suck). But...Yuzo Koshiro shouldn't get exclusive credit for the music, since it was JDK Band, right?
I wonder what Mitsuda's version of...whatever will be like.

Now that I think about it, Yuzo being on there makes a lot of sense, as he has actually gone on record as saying that the SF2 games are his favorite games ever.

Nope. I do remember reading somewhere that his favorite game was Street Fighter 2. If only I could remember where I read it...

Speaking of which, is there a soundtrack for Ys VI for purchase anywhere (or plans for one, at least)? I hope it's not an only-with-the-LE-version thing like Disgaea...

Well, the music that Ys VI came with is not the soundtrack, I believe it's a "Falcom Best of", so I would assume that the normal soundtrack would be out soon. Ys VI JUST came out a few weeks ago, so it's hard to say.
