had you thought about Trent Reznor and Marilyn manson??? I was looking at the big logo of the teaser video site and... cloud looks like trent reznor and Seph has something with Marilyn manson... it can be just my impression... but this is really strange...
and yes, Cloud doesn't looks so much like Trent, but Seph and MM..... hhhmmmm...

I don't see Trent Reznor in Cloud at all, but yeah, Marilyn Manson was the first thing I thought of when I looked at the pictures of Sephiroth.
Sigh. This ruins the old images and designs of the characters. Why does everyone assume photorealism is good? I'll never, ever understand it.

Ooooooooooh~ Now this is interesting. It warms my heart to see this. Specifically because for the longest time this game had completely fallen into the background where it had been forgotten (where it should have never been). Since it's one of my favorite games of all time and I will love it forever, I'm so excited! Yeeeeeee~ :> That is all.

It's what they're pushing toward. And it never looks right. The Spirits Within stands out as a good example of that.
What I was trying to say is that this ruins the style and look of the characters established in the actual FF7 art and FMV, by trying to make them look like actual people, yet people who don't actually exist. I don't really like it.

How are they animating this thing? Is it using the same rotoscoping technique that was used in FF: The Spirits Within?
