I can't say I really like the whole phantom concept, or the equipping items thing, but I guess it's unique..0_o

So your party possesses items and then picks up other items in order to equip weapons... that's different. Is there going to be a great deal of junk scattered about the playing field? Once possessed will the objects look like spirits or will you be leading a bunch of file cabinets or whatever into battle? The game sounds interesting but I'm curious to hear how successfully all these ideas get implemented.

It may interest you, Sugoi! has posted a colored visual of Phantom Brave last week. Marone could be the strange result of a mix between Etna and Yotsuba and Ash looks like an adult version of Laharl... Harada Takehito's work lacks a bit of variety, If only nippon1 could bring back Yoshiharu Nomura (and a real sequel to Marl series T_T)

Its refreshingly... different. I don't think it might suit everyone, but for one I really managed to identify with a lot of the ideas they brought up in the game. uho! Its like a game jammed full of deficient people.

Gosh, Marone = moeeeeee Ash reminds me of Shinobi unmasked.
Notice that in the pic posted in the-Sugoi.com, there's a weird creature with a green pointy hat thing between Marone and Ash.
