Officially announced by Konami (although I seem to recall some news about it before), Silent Hill: Da Movie will be produced by Samuel Hadida and directed by Christopher Gans.
Konami will design the monsters, write the script and make the sound effects.

Another one to the waiting queue, then. Gee, when something works it's "squeezed until the last drop" (literal translation from a Spanish saying ^_^U)

Mwahahaha! I'm gonna murder someone...

Wow, that's pretty neat, I've always been a huge Silent Hill fan, I thought the rumors of a SH movie were proven false!

I'm a FREAK for Silent Hill stuff, so I'm crossing my fingers that they won't screw up a movie of one of my all-time favorite game series. We'll have to see how it turns out, though.

I know this is slightly off topic, but wasn't there supposed to be a Devil May Cry movie being made?
(I just finished beating Must Die modes of DMC2 today, so when I saw this, it jogged my memory. I finally hacked through a whole lot of backlogged games to finish.)

Well, there was a rumor of a DOOM movie back when DOOM was big, but I never saw anything of it. Then a year or two ago, I heard that it's still a possibility. I don't believe it, but that's what I heard. I'm sure the DOOM movie and Duke Nukem (Taking) Forever will be released around the same time. Ugh.

Anyway, my point was that it could be dead. I'm not sure. But movie ideas I've heard that didn't happen might still happen. Ehh. I don't know. I actually didn't hear about the DMC movie idea, but hey, who says it won't happen after all?

If konami is in charge of all that stuff then im not too worried about it. Silent Hill 2 could have been an excellent side story movie.
