A little news about the hypest game of winter (well, in my dictatorial opinion, so you're welcome to shut up if you don't agree) :
There will be a demo at the TGS (probably a CD for windows, in flash), the game is completed at 70%, and ...
Spoiler (Highlight to view) - The first chapter (probably not the whole game) is set 5 years before the first game. The heroes are Naruhodo and Chihiro, and the guy reports that "you are *** and the victim is ***" (how imformative). Given what I remember from the first episode of the first game, I don't see who the victim can be, but given the fact that Naruhodo had his first trial in the first game, I guess the first part of the sentence may be understood as "Naruhodo is the suspect"? (And Chihiro saves him and he decides to become a lawyer? any connection with the last episode of the first game?) I don't remember what they said about the background of Chihiro as a lawyer, though... Naruhodo and (especially) Chihiro ('s boobies) will be redrawn younger and I wonder if Itonoko (moeeeeee) and the judge will have the same treatment... The best part of this is that if the other cases are set after GyakuSai 2, there could be a connection between the cases like in the first game, with Gô? No clues about any new important characters, but Mayoi, Harumi, Mitsurugi, Mei, and a few other characters of the past games (The game wouldn't feel the same without Ôba Kaworu) are sure to come back. I bet Mayoi's aunt and Suzuki from the first trial of GyakuSai 2 will return... Like Oivier said earlier, a new evil rival should be possible, why not Mei's sister... She could be either the ultimate SM Jôôsama her sister could have been or the total opposite, some Kasumi - like nice, almost stupid girl...
End of Spoiler
Gnnaaaaaah, I can't wait for this game.

Spoilers ahead, once again...
The first episode is Chihiro's first trial, and as I thought, Naruhodo is the suspect. The judge, Auchi and Hoshikage as Chihiro's support will appear (But... but... BUT WHERE IS ITONOKOGIRI???????) The gauges are the same as in the second game, the Psychic lock is back. 2 new characters : a girl named Chinami (lol) and a guy with googles that seems to be a psychic. The game is really longer than the first two ones and will take a lot more time to complete. It seems the director found the tempo of the first two games was bad and he improved it (I'll have to play the game to understand what he means by that). The first trial is 5 years ago, and the general story of the whole game will be about this event. Well, it means the trials will be interconnected, which is a very good thing if it's done well. (and I have no doubts about it). Naruhodo is 19, student but not in a law school. Auchi, until this trial, was called "newbie breaker". Mayoi and Harumi will appear. Mayoi and Suzuki Mako will appear in waitress uniform (...po) Chihiro's breast are smaller ON PURPOSE (kyaaaaah!!! I knew there was something EVIL with her breasts!!) and, for a reason or an other, someone feels the need to say that we won't see her pants (...?) Her voice will be done by the secretary of "another producer". There is a new rival. I don't know if Mitsurugi or Mei will come back, but this new character will be voiced by the producer of Viewtifull Joe.
EDIT : Itonoko MOEEEEEEE!!

Yes, yes, I know... but say it again, there are SOME PEOPLE here that don't understand my true valour. (angry looks at anyone that didn't post at least a message "Iggy, you're fabulous" or "Iggy, I love you" or "Iggy, you're my fantasy come true" or "Iggy, fill me" in the past year)
quote: "Itsobious" or "Hum...Isee" sounds better
Hey, that's not bad... But what do you do with Ôba Kaoru?

quote: Actually my guess is that... hum... a bigger picture so... how can I explain that without having to use Quantic Physics ? (she maybe have variable width breast) It's the only reasonable way to explain it... But my other concern is this : if her breasts grow that much until the first game, the only reasonable explanation is that she will have to investigate in a clinic, and to gather indications, she has to enter there as a patient SO, COMPLETELY NATURALLY, to have a breast implant surgery. this is the most normal way to explain it. But the problem is : when she enter her sister's body, why does she keep her implants? I didn't know the silicon had a soul...
I didn't want to go this far, but there it is.
In classical physics, you have to states for a lot of things like 0-1, on-off, positive-negative, and it's logical that when something is in one state, it can't be in the other one. So, so far, I have been quite clear.
In Quantum Physics, things can be in one state or the other too, but where it begins to becom tricky is that things can also be in the two states simultaneously. Maybe silicon or the "mamal matter" is a quantic portal, that can explain a lot of things as why males have a visual focus on breasts. But also the presence of silicon at a really small sub-particle state melted with her soul so when she reincarnate she can use it to generate big titties.
I hope it's clear now

quote: Man these series look fun, too bad I might never see it translated, unless theres some European version on English or Spanish?? How much replay do these games have? Edit: i will not learn Japanese!
It's really fun, it's so crazy I can't even be sure my scenario with the breast implants won't be in the game... Even though each episode is about a murder and finally you send someone to death punishment, the whole investigation and trial are each time wilder than the first one. This game won't be translated in any language, because half of the jokes are japanese-only, and the bad part is that if you don't perfectly understand japanese, you can't enjoy the game. They have no replay value at all. It's a digicomic, and has not a single embranchment at all. I wanted to make a review of the games for Sugoi (so, in french), but since the 3rd will be out so late, I think I will do it without waiting the 3rd (in a few weeks I guess, if it's ok with Fab)
