Unfortunately, we weren’t able to find out if any of the past Zelda titles will be upgraded like Ocarina of Time/Master Quest was on the first Zelda demo disc. We are also hoping Nintendo will also squeeze on some 3rd party demos and trailers as well, but that is still to be determined. It’s also unclear whether you will have to purchase a GameCube to get the disc, or if you’ll be able to buy it separately.

... seriously, the N64 Zeldas were meant to be played in high-res. I remember one time in the Water Temple in Ocarina of Time, I saw a door on the other side of a long, troublesome passageway. Thanks to the low resolution, it wasn't until I got right to the door that I saw a lock on the door -- and I didn't have a key. That's a small example, but it still sticks out in my head.

That, and more detail in the N64 Zeldas rocks. (Plus, I could play through the original two Zeldas again.) I just hope this deal also includes the Ocarina of Time Master Quest...

AWESOME!! Now I can play the first two Zeldas without having to brutally beat my NES into submission. Zelda II is my favorite of all the Zelda games.

I can say with certainty that zelda 1, 2 and 3 have NOT been updated in any way, and Majora's Mask looks the same as Ocarina of Time did on the GC.

Don't ask how I know this.
