I've never played the BOF games before.
Simple question,can someone explain Scias' storyline to me? Thanks.

BOF has crap for some character backgrounds. Scias is one of them. He's just a laid-back dog guy that works as a mercenary. And...in the American version, he has a stuttering problem. Doesn't say much, either. Yep...that's it. Stuttering dog mercenary. He's guarding you at one point, but then decides to go with you almost on a whim.

Plus BOF4 had the weakest characters in my opinion anyway. I was going to answer this question and then I thought "wait... he doesn't really HAVE a backstory..." Even less than your average BOF character.

I loved all of the characters in BOF4...they were very well designed and expressive...but they just...didn't develop. I played through the whole game waiting for there to be even an ounce of character development...and...well, there was a tiny amount...an immeasurably tiny amount, but that was it. So, ehehe...just get the artbook and don't waste time with such a meaningless game. After so many stupid fetch quests, I agreed that humanity should be destroyed in the end.

Scias didn't have much of a backstory, AND didn't have anything afterwards. He's just...... there.
