yeah yeah, its old news now - but it still makes me sad. now that both animejunkies and animekingdom have ceased fansubbing, I was wondering if there was a way to still see it, like I dunno watching the episodes raw or something. because... man... bandai has some KILLER timing, waiting until there was only EIGHT episodes left to announce the licensing and subsequent ceasing of all fansubs. the story was about to end, all the loose ends were slowly being tied together, now I'm stuck in a spot where I have to wait either 2 years for the american DVDs to come out, or waiting however long it is until the hong kong DVDs come out. either way it sucks.

I know some (some) fansubbers still release licensed material - ghost in the shell SAC is still getting fansubs, so I HOPE someone has the decency to finish gundam seed, of course not to "take away from bandai's profits" but for the fans, to not leave them hanging. I have a lingering suspicion that bandai made the announcement this late intentionally so that followers of the fansubs would have little choice other than to buy their product... I'm sure I can't be the only one that feels this way.

for great justice.

I would much rather see Victory Gundam, or hell, even Gundam X brought over other than Seed, but I guess Bandai is hoping to make money off the latest series with modern animation.

With 8 episodes remaining? Oh yeah, someone will.

Is One Piece licensed? My biggest fear is finally getting into the series and starting to download eps, and as the series still continues in Japan, having the plug pulled on me when it gets licensed here. So I would eventually have to wait for the US releases to catch up, which is a long, unhappy wait.

Odd. Their Otakon booth and catalog had zero mention of it... grr. I hope they get their asses in gear soon, I can't wait forever for this stuff, heheh.
