What was your favorite part? I think mine might be the room with the mirror with the blood that fills the room... You know, the one that comes out of the sink.
Oh boy! It's summertime!

Why don't I go crazy spoiler nuts and talk about the hidden ending? ^^''' (Silent Hill no uta...minna de utaoooooo) Hrm...I think I liked when Vincent said "You mean, they look like monsters to you?" best, but there were really a lot of awesome parts.

End of Spoiler And Douglas's new costume. No wonder Heather don't feel like talking to him at the mall.

furi-furi furi-kura... I'm just repeating myself from w2ch, but I ..huu.....really like how they gave Heather bad skin. Plus it was pleasing to be afraid (goddamn camera) of the non-boss enemies for once.

Definitely the alternate world environments. I mean, that's why everyone plays SH right?
I was so glad to see them come back in full force after the sort of tame ones in SH2.
I miss the siren that signifies when you switch between the two worlds though.
However, in this game, in some areas there isn't a distinct line when you enter the alternate world (like in the subway, sewer, and the church) its just kind of some rooms are normal, and some are alternate.
However, I would have really liked to here the siren go off when Heather went down the elevator in the Mall, Turned the valve on the bathtub...and...well I forgot how they did the transition in Brookhaven hospital.

I never played SH2 but I beat 1. Would I be missing anything if I played SH3 first?

SH3 is a continuation of SH1. SH2 is like a side story.

I dunno...as far as world-changing goes I think the subtlety of Valtiel is cooler than a siren. Hahaha...and Douglas' hidden "costume" is the coolest result from the Konami code EVER.

I didn't miss the sirens in3. Generally startled the hell out of me. Speaking of which, Valtiel is total bastard the way he/it doesn't set off the radio. One thing I do miss from SH2 (which seemed gave me the impression of a tech demo for SH3 with excellent design/story but iffy gameplay) is all the environments and enemies sharing a theme. Maybe I just enjoying killing shiny (whatever happened to that effect anyway?) deformed women parts...huuu Oh yeah, off topic. Favourite part: Entering Other Hospital for the first time. Those walls....

Yeahyeah...when I went in the "other" hospital for the first time, I just screamed "I'm in HELL!" and my heart was just pounding...until I realized it was just the hospital, and somehow pulling up my map made it all OK. That was the scariest part. Otherwise...I dunno...it just didn't scare me as much as SH2.

Freud once said that wall texture over-saturation undoubtly leads to visual desensitization later in life.

This game made me say "OH... MY... GOD..." the most times ever in a game. Bloody skin and bleeding walls freaked me out the most in that game.
I just wish Heather took the scares a little more seriously... but she's kind of used to seeing stuff like that. Plus, I'm pretty sure she thinks she's still dreaming the whole time.
