I've watched every episode of Big O since it's been on the Adult Swim schedule and thus far haven't had any trouble following the story. Yet today I missed the first 9 minutes of tonights episode and found myself hopelessly lost! I know people on this site watch this so I humbly request your assistance in helping me figure out what the heck is going on.

Spoiler (Highlight to view) -
So I gather that Roger and Dorothy were hired by that old man/robot to investigate Wainright's mansion. Why? Did the old man state a reason?? They mentioned that some people had been assassinated - are these the people that were killed in the R D episode? They also mentioned something about multiple people having the same memories - is this correct? Why were they killed?

Furthermore, did they clarify anything about the previous episode? Why did Roger have that memory slip? What became of the foreign Mega Deus's??

I know this is alot to ask but suddenly I feel like I've lost my own memories (as pertains to this series at least). Please don't tell me anything to come; I'm just trying to figure out if these things should be clearer from the episodes that already aired.

The first nine minutes involved a recap of previous episodes, including flashbacks to the late doctor and R.D. The old guy didn't specify what Roger was going to do save talk to the assassin.

But really, the whole thing was so the guy could pass on his memories to someone trustworthy. And then the new baddies stole it.
