from Namaenonai Heya: FM They would love to remake Front Mission 2 and 3. The new Front Mission should have the same world feeling the first game had. They are thinking about wether an online could be good or not. It makes 3 upcoming Front Mission games (1 remake, new, new online)? too good to be true...
Tengaimakyo a new Tengaimakyo, Oriental Blue, is coming to GBA and is 98% complete. The design is far from the ones of the PCE games. The players will have a huge influence on what happens (the general scenario? just some side events?), and you can chose from a boy or a girl when you begin. The game is for one player, but it supports link cable (?).

I've never heard of this game. Do you have a link or could explain what it's about?

Never heard of it either. Nothing except Namaenonai seem to talk about it (didn't seek much though)
As for Tengai Makyo, remember Far East Of Eden Zero back in the snes days? Or the VS game Far East Of Eden Kabuki Clash? Well there are more series to this famous title back in the PC Engine days which is only released in Japan. My favourite is the one on the Sega Saturn called Tengai Makyo Apocalypse. Finally Hudson is going to continue this awesome series for the PS2 and Gamecube. Both are different games respectively. I've got video preview and commercial of the game (at the meantime i only have the one for the Gamecube) so if anyone's interested could dl if off me frm icq. 30639841

I'm excited about ANY TengaiMakyou game that comes out, but...it's just not the same if they aren't CD. When I compare the amount of charm that Zero has against 4 (which is on Saturn)...it's just..whooo...no comparison. Tengai Makyou 4, despite turning me off a bit due to somewhat boring gameplay, is an amazing achievement. I have never played a game where the creaters put so much minute, completely unecessary effort into everything about it. Anyone who is into getting import RPGs should look into any of the Tengai Makyou games...though I suppose it's easy enough to wait for the Manjimaru remake.

The only FM I have ever played is Front Mission 3. I absolutely loved it and made a few friends love it in return. To think this is considered the worst of the series, I can't wait to play the 2 prequels.
Particular sign: KOF EX2 addicted.

I didn't know the 3 was considered bad... I played it a few hours myself, I don't remember why I couldn't continue more, but I remember liking it. I remember, on the other hand, the 2 having loadings from HELL. A mission was like 2 hours, plus at least half an hour of loading. I don't remember anything of the game, except the cameo of a character from Front Mission 1 (surpriiise!) and that awfull loading screen. And the first one... I liked it at the time, but the way the characters had always the same face whatever happened was too funny. The death of the hero's girlfriend at the beginning of the game was the funniest moment I had on SFC.
