Well, most of the move names are too small/blurred for me to read, but I'd be happy to translate what I can.

I am having a hard time translating a lot of the moves...not because of the quality of the picture...it's just that there are a lot of kanji that I don't know, I can mostly only read phonetic...but the interesting thing is that looking at moves like Haohmaru's "Tenhafujinzan" supers are executed by pressing:
Very cool...easy to execute and isn't like the stupid motions in "Amakusa's Revenge"

Is anyone else getting kinda tired of Nona doing ALL the promotional artwork now? Doing the artwork for KOF and SvC is fine, but the other series need someone else.

The artwork on that movelist completely screams of Nona.

Bah! I can't read kanji if my life depended on it. Plus the move names are too small too read. Maybe the Professor might have a better shot at reading this or Chupiler.

Yeah. Thankfully we have no more crazy motions we saw in Amakusa Kourin. It's just a quarter-circle forward w/ C+D. That's it.

I couldn't agree with you more. I don't know why, but Watsuki-sensei should have done the art. We need more games to have popular artists doing the art. Okay, I won't see Fujisawa Touru-sensei doing the art of the next Street Fighter game, but one can dream, ne? =P

Found out it's made by the same team as SS 3... maybe they've learned something from before, and there won't be the ridiculous damage issues.
Also, rumor has it that Nobunaga and Ranmaru are two bosses.

More rumors that two of the bosses are Ranmaru and Nobunaga (the Hibiki-look alike "girl" is allegedly Ranmaru) there's supposedly another boss in there, some sort of large lumpy guy, with Nobunaga being the final boss.

Well, this Ranmaru is on the far left column, fifth one down. Looks like he has one of those moves where you hold a button down and then release it, like Marco Rodriguez in MOTW.

Think SS 1 and you pretty much get the idea. Oh and yeah, you bet I will go to Sunnyvale again to play this baby as well as Metal Slug V.

Well, that's the in-game art. I was referring to the movelist/promotional artwork. ;)
If its not Nona, then who? I'm still pretty sure its him. Just wish they'd reveal the art on the website so we could get a better idea.

That's Shizumaru, not Ranmaru. I'll look for some screen shots of the alleged Ranmaru, there were some floating around...
It's not like they only made the third game in the series...

Actually, it is. Most of the team didn't actually work on 4 or the subsequent games; a lot of the work on Samurai Tamashii and Asura Zanmaden was done by outside contractors who had experience working woth 3D. "Team Galapagos" also worked on SS 1 and 2, but most of the staff members had changed by the time SS 3 rolled around, and it SHOULD be fairly obvious without even thinking about it. Anyway, I asked you a question about the final boss; you have any info on who it is?

Edit: Shame you don't have any info on the boss, I guess I'll keep searching.

Maybe someone in here can help me, but how the HELL do Japanese read name kanji just by looking at them? Whenever I run into one I don't know, I look it up and see that it has about five different NAME pronounciations alone! I have been a Japanese student for more than four years now, and I still have no fucking clue how Japanese do this.

LOL well for me and my study in Japanese I read long names in kanji phonetically...I'm sometimes off by a word or two but for me it is part memorization and of combinations of the basic meanings of words. I'm sure it is harder to translate if your native language is something other than Japanese.

That's exactly it; Many Japanese CAN'T read somebody else's name just by looking at it, so they ask.
