Are there any good gothic comics besides the Sandman/Death serries? "Gothic" as in undead, dark clothes, (edit:) oh yeah, vampires of course, and any related variations.
Sandman, atleast the first graphic novel, isn't really that goth' to me, except for that the Sandman looks like the lead singer of the Cure, and that his briefly appearing sister is Death. Umm...but don't let that stop you from making a recommendation...

"Everybody loves baklava! Crispier flakier crust!"
Sig question> Which of these three wrote the music (not just sound effects) for Shinobi III: Masayuki Nagao; Hirofumi Murasaki; and/or Horihiko Akiyama?

Does Johnny the Homicidal Maniac count? if it does that and the other works of Jhonnen Vasquez (minus Invader Zim) should fill your need of goth comicy fun.

I haven't seen that comic.

Even though the genre is called "gothic", it started from the Dracula book and not from gothic art and arcitecture, if you ask me.
However some participents in the genre have stretched it out into all sorts of areas. The only common theme I think now is that they are dark, or better yet dark aesthetics, or some tiny vamp like quality.

I've seen a small number of "goth" comics with the writer's versions of vampires having some kind of wanna be Ann Rice drama, but those were very badly drawn. I was wondering if there's any good ones.

There's a manga in Tokyo Pop's "Rising Stars of Manga" Anthology called "Devil's Candy". It's just one chapter, but it's in negotiations to become a long-running series.

Have you read "The Crow"? It's way better than the film IMO.
There are also some other stories based in "The Crow" premise, sadly I don't remember the name of the authors. Yet I vividly remember a beautiful ilustrated story about a pregnant girl and the Crow. She had a badass "make-up" of a crow in her face.
