It's the 24/07 now... But we have new pics on the official site There are pics of Goenitz, Dimitri and such, but they still aren't on the characters page... we'll have to wait to see their official picture.
Oh, and KOF 2001 PS2 will have new strikers and 3D (less shitty?) backgrounds. I wonder if they will do the same to KOF 2002 if they ever release it...

Where'd you hear that? I'm curious, it's not on the site or anything.
Though, I can't wait assuming it's true. Being that KoF 2000+2001 are supposed to be released in the US together in October. I'm hoping for an arranged soundtrack as well.
And I heard at E3 (with all the SNK news) KoF 2002 was going to be released sometime n January (???)
EDIT: I'm also curious about the "new strikers". If it's true that means they'd have to implent a system like in 2000. Unless they were adding CHARACTERS (actually playable) to then be strikers.

New strikers don't interest me but any changes made to the backgrounds could only be an improvement.

If she's playable in the PS2 version and not just a striker, I'd definitely buy it on release. I'd consider it if she was just a striker and they add more strikers than 2k DC has.

If she's a new striker (or like that crappy 99 on DC, but where she had 6 different variations, and danses...) and the background look less ugly (oh, and the music is less... less what it was), I will seriously consider of buying it (well, after a new PS2 that is). But if they add substancial new thingies in KOF 2001, I guess they will as well add them to KOF 2002, and since there are no strikers in 2002... they... may ... as well... RESURECT THE BEST DANCER EVER DONE!! ... or Lucky Glauber.
