I just got my newest issue of PSM (PlayStation Magazine) and it states that a new Street Fighter game is arriving in 2004. The game storyline takes place right after SF2 but before SF3. The original Street Fighter 2 cast will be included, however, the graphics will be more akin to the orignial SF2 not SF3.

2) It was a misquote. Professor was nice enough to correct it very shortly after the word started spreading.

Goes to show you how incredibly useless 99% of gaming rags have become.

I love GIF animations like that. There like teh old days of cartoons when the used to use cels. I have a few KoF ones like that.

They used to be pretty good, but have gone downhill. I mean, they don't even really use new artwork for the cover anymore. They do every once in a while, but that's it. I don't respect their opinion anymore, either, really...

Yeah, I used to love PSM. I subsribed to them from the very beginning with issue 1. The cover art was good, most of the time. And, their articles where fresh and original. But, ever since members of the original crew left, it has sucked. I'm finally letting my subscription run out...

Yeah, isn't it like, down to THREE of the original members of the PSM editorial staff now? The whole magazine's gotten kind of... I don't know. Sucky. I haven't seen a reader art section in forever. They threw out the cool stickers and stuff a million years ago, and of course, the cool new cover art. Then their reviews kind of got lame, too. When XBox and Gamecube came out, they got EXTREMELY fanboyish REALLY quick. I remember their big article declaring the console war to be over and PS2 the winner (even though the competitors were at LEAST a year behind)... basically, if everyone remembers that press conference or whatever where Sony was bragging about the "console war being over," that's what they were harping on.
