Do you really need to have an opening page? I find those very annoying personally.
And it's dark. Really dark. Like 'staring into a black hole with the lights off' dark. :p

I have an opening page because by default the directory points to index.html, but I wanted it to go to an SHTML page. Since I didn't know how to make the directory point to a different page, I just made a small page that links to the actual site.
Yes, it is dark. Originally it was blue but I had kind of a black theme going so I just stuck with it. I can change it if it's too hard to see, but once I get some images in there it shouldn't look quite as dark, I hope.

Yeah, I've been going for years but only as a part-time student. I just recently went full-time because I'm not working any more.
