Okay, I've got a question: does anyone here know what the "link" between DoA3 and DoAXVB is? I know the manual said it has something to do with survival mode, but I can't tell what it's supposed to do. Any ideas?

Any teams who play together a lot in DOA3 will have higher friendship when you start a new game of DOAX. That's it. Anything else you hear about it, like extra starting cash, is false.

You forgot to mention that if you link the 2 games and play DOA volleyball, the girls will have one of their tits showing out.

Oh, okay. Actually, I hadn't heard anything about what survival mode did.... but a better friendship doesn't sound like that much of a bonus. Oh well.

It's just the items that are dropped in Survival mode.
I believe for example Christie's items are a toy car and guns... and in DoAX she'll befriend you if you give her steering wheels and guns! (and guitars and british bread and tomato products)
It's not really what you'd call a "good link" so much as "useless crap guessing and check could have revealed"

In the Japanese version it was the right-hand one, but in the US and EUR versions it is the left one because the game has been understandably censored for our western markets. But if you link up DOA volleyball with Scoobydoo Nights of 100 Frights, then you can switch the ingame paramater to Japanese and view those wished-for left-hand titties. There's even a bukake option when you link with Barbie: Treasures in Time, but hush!
