Saw that link, and I must say I'm excited.

Brings back good ol' memories of Nick Arcade. Anyone remember that show?

Hah, do I ever. Phil Moore was an insane host, and the games they would play while "inside"... so cheesy!

And I was even a geek back then. I'd always be jealous that they got to play Neo Geo and TurboGrafx 16 games. Of course, most of the kids on the show sucked and didn't appear to be familiar with the games, which bothered me even more because I was that much of a geek, heh heh.

Yeah I do. It always annoyed me that they had a Neo, and I didn't :P

I remember there being another videogame gameshow too, though I forget the name. To get on the show, you had to try to stump this one of the hosts with a game triva question (didn't matter if you succeded or not). Once they had, say 4 people, they had to face off against one another in a series of video game challenges and trivia questions until they had a winner. The winner then got to run through a small, store-like area for 30 secs or so, and got to keep what ever he could carry out. Really enjoyed it when I was a kid though, especially the mad dash at the end.

So I wasn't alone! I wonder where all of those games are now....

I used to watch that show all the time after school, it was great. I always wished I could run through and grab a bunch of games into my arms and carry them home for free. Of course now its kind of funny considering you can get every NES game ever made on a few cd-r's @_@

Video Power! Put the Spot on Johnny by putting Johnny on the Spot!

Although I was disappointed that they never played any Megaman there.

I remember that. I also remember watching the Super Mario Bros. Super Show and Captain N, but that has nothing to do with game shows.
