i currently have no job since May ... and recently .. i got a job offer from a company (in that city area , high living expenses if i compare with the local one)... and i and really confuse with it ...

okay , situation like this ...

there is another job for me in july .. BUT it only have 50% chances due to the business might not be work out .. IF everything goes fine ... yeah .. i would love to work in local area ...

and i have a mother who is 59 now .. and i cant leave her with my sister only .. my sister got a job too (noon hours only , she is a high school teacher anyway) ... what if my mother goes really sick and im not beside and taking care of her .. i will really feel guilty ...

my mom was almost die when i was living in Minnesota ... but i didnt know about it untill i came home in 2001 ...

so people .. should i go for local ? or the city ?

if i go to the city .. im really worry about my mother ...

hmmm ?

OK...what I'm gonna tell you right now can be hard to read, so feel ready for those...

just for once forget your mother, I mean, like you said she's 59 and I won't be a bad one, but I think it's time for you to live your OWN life. you can't spend all your time for your mother.

besides she could be sick or "die" even if your at 10 meters from her and so fast that you could help her ether.

What I mean is that we all loves our family, (didn't we??) but we can be to much dependant of them. If your mother is weak it's the case of many other mother in the world, being with her 24h on 24h won't help her and won't make you a good life.

Even if you choose the city job, nothing will stop you if you wish to go and see her in the week or in the week end when you finished your job.

Peoples dies, no matter what and I could be wrong but I'm sure that your mother wish you a good life and if this job is a piece of this "good life" she won't hates you for taking it.

Now the choice is your, if you wish, talk about this wish her, it could help.

Yeah, I know.... over and done with this thread is.. but I'm gonna add my opinion in because I'm opinionated and can't help it. :>

I agree with Naruto. o_O Everyone faces death eventually. If you stay there when she does die.. and it is not something you alone can stop by being there.. you will have waisted your life for the inevitable. Not that I say you should completely abandon her. But it is a fate that we all face at one point or another. At least you will be capable of having a life after her once she has passed ... be it sooner or later and for whatever reason. ^_^ Make sense?
