Someone here has to know what I am trying to talk about :
A long while back someone posted a link to an artists site... This site had art that looked like paintings/pastel even though they were done on photoshop/CPU. (like the art from magna carta or something..)
anyway, on this site there was a picture of a asian girl With long hair -becoming wood - (the hair strands were flowing and became wood)
Does anyone know this pic/site?? please!?

Because some kid in my art class draw this picture and I know I've seen it before at the site I tried to describe... he passed the picture off as his own and got many praise , when he a) is not that great at drawing, b) would never think of that pic, c) the girl/pose and everything was the same as at the site, d) I known 100% I saw it before... I HAD it saved on my CPU a long time ago..
must...find picture...help?

There's nothing I hate worse than people ripping off art and claiming it as their own... it's happened to me in the past and royally pissed me off. The only problem is so many artists use a painted style now, so it's not going to be easy to find. I haven't seen the specific picture you mentioned, but maybe Rid will know.

Yeah,that's a total pissoff. As an artist,it's such a total discomfort to know that someone ganked your art and claimed it as their own. Catch the SOB and beat his ass!

Damn,...if only the forums could go back 20 pages or so... but thats asking to much.
I remember the site having lots of really cool CG art...some of the best I've seen, (like thw one that guy ripped off with the wooden hair girl)
