Discussed on the shmups.com forums

Some rich person really really loves Final Fantasy III US!
And it's been paid for

Castlevania PC-Engine which sold for very cheap!
Castlevania - Rondo of Blood

Actually, it isn't as rare as people think... this is more reasonable, believe it or not. It's probably because the seller only had four feedback, though.

Ouch. I don't have half of those games, and I'm always happy for extras. I would have got that, had I seen it. >_< Argh, Cotton!!!! >_<

And to think I sold my FFVI/ US III copy for like 5 bucks or something years ago. It was used but still. I wish I would caught this thread before I started the KOF dolls thread. The auction just came on and there is 5 bids already

You would think so, since it came out for the Saturn, but it's a rare exception.

Rugal/baghead:

it was originally on the model 2; but ported onto the saturn.

STV wasnt widely suppoted. sega made a few games on it, as a few third parties.

I was gonna' say: Check the emulated Model 2 version, but since I'm still not sure how this board handles emulation issues, I'm not going to.

Model 2 hardware is emulated? No shit... I would have never thought. Maybe with some clever controller building and the wonders of emulation, I can actually have Top Skater at home... or... I could just save myself the trouble and save a few grand for the machine.

Or not.

But that STV auction is nuts. I paid $65 for my board alone, and $30 for VF Kids... this is me feeling really jealous, right about now.
