I'm not really into GBA games, but I did try some Shinobi game, unfortunately it was really boring, and didn't seem to have much with Shinobi to do at all... The graphics reminded me more of Donald Duck than anything else, and the gameplay was really slow and dull. So if we're talking about the same game, I wouldn't recommend it.

Yeah avoid Shinobi and Altered Beast for the GBA with a 50 foot pole. They use ugly prerendered 3d sprites, have lame enemies, and boring controls... it's even worse than that motion capture Shinobi game for the Saturn.
