I think you can enter any character you want. Some of these are jokes, like "Nona's version of Satsui no Hadou ni Mezameta Balrog" and "E.Honda doing something with Cammy".

Just off the top of my head, 86 is Sakura's English teacher, who I assume was in an ending of some game.

And Gorbachev is about as legitamate as Sakura's friend who runs out and gives her stuff. He should be made into a secret character.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure this is filling up with jokes and mispellings (plus Ken written in English and other duplicates).

As an asside, does anyone know what ウメハラ means?

I heard that they're also holding an art contest and the winning entries will be displayed in an art gallery in Japan. I can't figure out if non-japanese can enter though.... anyone know?

It looks as if the votes continue to poor on this thing and it seems there is 127 "different" characters on it now. I think the EX characters are starting to show up?? and characters Like Jin Saotome from cyberbots/MvC

I think the text at the top may say something about elminating such votes as the EX characters, Movie characters, SNK, ect. not certain. At any rate its fascinating. Joe from SF1 climbs up to 4 votes and is now 68th GO JOE!

Yes that is Geki, in regards to the poll i guess Capcom felt it was not the way they wanted so they have it closed at the moment. I believe it will reopen sometime tomorrow. Hopefully it will make more sense then.
