I heard there is a way to play VCDs on DC , can anyone plz plz plz tell me how?!! I just got a DC so I dont know jack shit about it ;_;

There at least some homebrew VCD players at DCEmulation's Homebrew Site, but I'm not sure how reliable they are. I think there might also be some commercial ones available.

The ones I tried had that horrible a quality that it made them almost unwatchable..Don't know if it had to do with the encoding of the videos or the DC itself.I suspect the latter. Because I have tried this:playing DivX video on DC.The bitrate must be very low for the DC to handle it.I had made a self boot cd with some video clips at DVD quality and it couldn't run them.Instructions are at DCemulation.It's really very easy.You can always ask around in forums like Zophar's domain.But why bother when you can always watch them on your PC and with a card that supports TV out on your TV?

i've messed with this stuff. imo, it isn't worth it. too much effort for too little result. but if you do decide to try it out, be careful. the dc wasn't made to spin that fast. or something
