OT: Heh heh, I remember playing The Sims Online as a play tester and running into a David Hayter there. I asked him if he "does any voice acting, or just liked the name" and he laughed and said "sometimes". His wife in the Sims (I'm assuming it was also his real life wife) laughed too and said something about the fact that I recognized the name. I don't know if it was the actual guy or not, I just thought it was kind of funny.
Yep, that's him. He also used to do the voice for Grumpy Smurf and Tamahome in the Fushigi Yugi dub. He supposed to be a pretty cool guy since before he started doing so many projects he would answer fan mail from his hotmail account. I think he played a small cameo in the first Xmen movie as a guard or something, but I'm not sure since I didn't see it.

Yeah, he's both a writer and a voice actor. He said in an interview that they even accepted some rewrites for the American dub from him because of his credentials. Nothing really substantial, just some little edits to make the dialogue more fluid in English.
And as long as we're listing his acting credits, he also played Captain America in the Spider-Man cartoon from the '90s, which is pretty ironic, since I've always likened Solid Snake to a modern Captain America. And if the Human Torch was in any of the Secret Wars episodes, which I believe he was, then his and Raiden's voices may have appeared in the same episodes, since Raiden did the voice of the Human Torch throughout the '90s.
