As far as Sonic X is concerned, all the VAs reprise their roles from the games, and IMO, it's one of the best VG->anime conversions that I've seen.

And I forgot to mention, related to the VG -> anime adaptation: One thing I didn't like was that Sonic needs one (1) ring to get overpowered and be able to spin. As if he was Mario turning into Super Mario with a mushroom. Sonic doesn't rely on one (1) ring for power, relies on many for life. And I know the rings' part is hard to adapt to a TV series, but at least Sonic should've been able to always do his characteristic spinning jump, I think.
Another think I did like is water being Sonic's weak point, since it forbids him to run and he doesn't float, like in the games. If just before the boy rescued him a countdown had appeared over Sonic's head, it would've been great!
