Refer to update.

Man, what a... I can't beleive that a major magazine like Arcadia would do that.

Well, it's good to hear. Amazing such a gaffe could be made by a big-name magazine, though.

That's good to hear but who was responsible for the notation in Arcadia, the editors or a representitive of Psikyo? The original news blurb made it sound like Psikyo itself had declared that it was no longer in operation.

Yay!

Maybe it was a rouse to get people to buy up all their games?

I don't think that was a simple mistake, something else happened there, and we may never know what.

wow. I had my doubts about this actually, because Rid and I were just previously discussing how I thought they were doing just fine, with no end in sight.

Too late to say that, I guess, after I already reported the news ^_^

Oh well! At least the truth surfaced eventually. I'll change the source to the old article on my site to gamespot, instead of MMCafe - let them take the blame ;)

In fact, that's how it was written. There's 2 pages each month dedicated to showing maker comments, and Psikyo was in fact saying that they're closing down. The opening page of the section further supported Psikyo's statement since the magazine wrote "as can be seen from their comments, Psikyo will be laying to eternal rest". Pretty weird.. I really wonder what happened in the communications between the two company. I can't imagine the staffs at Arcadia not checking with Psikyo before supporting thier comments, so my personal question would be,

Did Psikyo's publicity man go Psycho or something?

Aye, sorry about the troubles, exodus.

Truly bizarre. Maybe further news on how this miscommunication occurred will be released.

Another thing~

arcadia scan

whats with the little crying Japanese ascii character doing in an announcement like this? Its as if Blizzard went out of business and a big magazine goes:

"Respected Supporters

Blizzard has gone out of operation T_T

:( MESSATSU OMG"

A bit unprofessional no? this is very weird.

Maybe...one of the Arcadia editors had a personal vendetta against Psikyo, ran the article, then quit.

Now I'm just inventing stories ^_^

Maybe most of Psikyo's staffers have quit, and Xnauts is just going to continue making games under the Psikyo label.
