It seems to be according to the magic box's sales chart of top selling games in Japan right now, Naruto seems to be on the list thus meaning that game has already been released.

But anyway, I just wanted to know if anybody here has any info or has played the Naruto game. If so, what kind of game is it and how does it play. Which characters are featured. Is it ones in the animes, or manga characters as well.

That's all I wanted to know.

Well from what I've seen thus far, the characters announced are Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Zabuza, Haku, and...Iruka?

I was kinda surprised at that because as far as I've seen in the anime Iruka's only ability seems to be taking giant shuriken in the back with ease j/k

dammit I want Rock Lee! No fighter is complete without a Bruce Lee clone!

People are playing over at gamefaqs. Supposedly shallow but solid fighter for fans of the series. Rock Lee is an unlockable.

the only true monster will be Orochimaru and Itatchi, but it seems that it's more close to the serie than the manga.

well IMO I don't like the sreie even if I'm a manga monster fan (I didn't like anime in general...) but I'll tru it for sure.

well IMO I don't like the sreie even if I'm a manga monster fan (I didn't like anime in general...) but I'll tru it for sure.

So far I've been following every episode of Naruto and I have up to chapter 165 of the manga... really the anime follows the manga almost exactly. I've only noticed small changes like toned down violence (Zabusa cutting heads off and less blood) The latest episode, number 30 has just revealed Orochimaru.

As for the game... I was surprised that Bandai didn't have the license, so there is hope of it not being total crap ;)

Well, the game isn't all that great, but i cant say its very bad either. Due to the number or characters and perhaps the shallow gameplay, its getting lots of critics lately. But i'm still putting my money on it. Afterall, its this game that finally made me want a Gamecube (well..maybe a few others like Zelda Wind Waker and smash brothers melee).

Thanks for the inputs so far. I'll still look into it. I guess Gai-sensei is not in it. The guy is hilarious. At least my favorite character Haku, is in the game.
